On Skipping Test Items. Although most test questions are arranged such that earlier questions are more difficult to answer than later ones, it is advisable to do easy ones first and go back to harder ones later, if time permits. Avoid wasting time puzzling over difficult questions.
On Guessing for the Answers. If you have to guess for the answer, be sure to use an educated and reasonable guess, since a random one can work against you. Otherwise, it is not worthwhile at all to guess.
On Following Directions. Since most types of test are given under time pressure, it is a must that you read and understand thoroughly every direction in each part in the examination. This will help you save valuable time, besides the self-confidence you will acquire when you know that you are on the right tract.
Above all, keep cool, stay calm and feel confident that you are well-prepared for the examination. Go over your answers if time allows and stay on, until you are asked to leave the examination room.
Review Seriously. In using review materials, choose comprehensive and updated ones. If there are exercises provided in your reviewer, make sure you are well-acquainted with the different exercises provided.
